I use food-grade hydrogen peroxide and soak for at least 30 minutes. Salt water is another option, but I like the convenience of HP. I buy 35% food grade HP and (carefully) dilute with distilled water to about 5%. I use about a capful for a large bowl of water. Very economical. All the best!
