Top 10 List: Expo East 2019 - Baltimore, MD
Life is about Good - Better - Best.
It is said that it is always best to raise, grow, or make your own, but this is often not feasible and not always the case. Hence, here are some brands of excellent products that were favorites of mine from Expo East '19. These are the BEST!
Jun is an effervescent fermented health tonic roughly similar to kombucha but feeding on green tea and raw honey rather than black tea and cane sugar. I first discovered WILD TONIC at the New Orleans Food Co-Op this past June. Then much to my surprise and delight at Fairhope Health Foods outside Mobile Alabama, I discovered that WILD TONIC also makes a alcoholic fermented beverage with 5.6% ABV. I could not buy one that day, as I was driving en route to Georgia, but had the pleasure of sampling at Natural Products Expo East. I am not someone that often imbibes, but this product is an exception. Clean, refreshing and no icky feeling the next day. BOTTOM LINE: Healthy, delicious, and delightful!

Closing Notes: The trends at Expo East were hemp/CBD products, cauliflower based gluten-free products, keto, and caffeinated beverages. You will find none of those items here, as I do not have favorite items in those categories. I will be adding a blog on CBDs in the future to share my thoughts on CBDs and what products I recommend.
